In these series of paintings I wanted to use a traditional portraiture in less traditional way in order to express the feelings and emotions better and distorted the facial features in order to achieve it. There is a deep and complex world behind the conventional face presented in public and I tried to penetrate through by painting what I felt not what I saw.
